Henschke Hill of Grace is regarded as something of a national treasure. Nicolaus Stanitski, a Henschke ancestor, planted the original Hill of Grace vineyard in the 1860s. Cyril Henschke established the Hill of Grace label in 1956. However, it is Stephen Henschke and his viticulturalist partner Prue, who have painstakingly developed the vineyard and wine since 1978. This single vineyard wine is produced from old low yielding vines.

Hill of Grace has intense blackberry and spice aromas balanced by meaty barrel ferment characters. The palate is richly concentrated, with complex, gamy, blackberry/chocolate flavours, ripe tannins, and intergrated oak.
Henschke Hill of Grace is regarded as something of a national treasure. A "must have" wine for the serious collector. Frank's Fine Wines has vintages from 1986 in 750ml bottles and some magnums.
